GP EXTENDED HOURS
East Northants Enhanced Access Hub
The Enhanced Access Hub is a GP led evening and weekend service that offers a range of services for patients registered at surgeries across East Northants.
If you are registered with Parklands Surgery you will be able to book appointments at the hub via Reception.
Please call the surgery in the usual way and ask the receptionist to book you a GP HUB APPOINTMENT. These are offered at both Harborough Field Surgery and The Cottons Medical Centre.
Only patients who have an appointment will be seen.
This is NOT a walk-in service and on-line appointment booking is not available.
These appointments will be of particular help to patients who find it difficult to attend an appointment during the working day, who are working parents with children or who are reliant on working carers to take them to appointments.
Please note: The community GP Hub appointments are for routine general practice issues and not urgent care. There is a limited set criteria and this may include the following:
GP Appointments for new problems
Paediatric Nurses for under 6 year olds with new problems
Smear Clinics
Nurse Practitioner - for new minor illnesses
Physiotherapy
Chronic Disease - Asthma / COPD reviews
Treatment Room
Respiratory Hub - cold/flu symptoms eg. chest infections
If urgent care is required please call the NHS 111 service for advice.
